This will be a USA Shooting sanctioned event conducted using USA Shooting rules.  All competitors must be individual members of USA Shooting. 

 

WHEN:        Matches will be held on the following dates:

March 16, 2008 (10:00a.m.), April 20, 2008 (8:00a.m.), May 18, 2008 (8:00a.m.), June 15, 2008 (8:00a.m.), July 20, 2008 (8:00a.m.),

August 17, 2008( 8:00a.m.), September 21, 2008 (8:00a.m.), October 19, 2008 (8:00a.m.), November 16, 2008 (10:00a.m.), December 21, 2008 (10:00a.m.).

TIME:            Matches will start at 8:00 a.m. each day except colder months they will start at 10:00 a.m..

10 minute preparation period at 7:50 a.m. or 9:50 a.m. colder months

            1 Relay in each event, maximum of 36 shooters, except Rapid Fire

MATCH FEES:         OKCGC MEMBERS  $20.00 first event          $7.00 each additional event

                                    NON-MEMBERS       $25.00 first event          $8.00 each additional event

 

MATCH RULES:

• Event will be conducted under USA SHOOTING Rules.  Rules will be modified to accommodate a non-traveling paper target system
• Each event fee is per the schedule above.  Please send a check for your entry fees with your entry form.  Cancellations received one week prior to the match date will receive a full refund.  Cancellations received within one week of the match will not receive a refund.  
• Each event is limited to 36 shooters
• You must be a member of USA Shooting to participate.  If you are not a current member you may submit your membership fee of $35.00 with your event application fee.
• $6.00 of your entry fee will be sent to USA Shooting with your scores. 
• If your membership is expired your scores will not be entered into the USA Shooting classification system.

COURSES OF FIRE:  

·        Matches start at 8:00 a.m.(10:00 a.m. on colder months) and will follow one match after another until all entries for all matches have completed shooting.

·        Before the start of the match (7:50 a.m. or 9:50 on colder months) – 10 minute preparation period for Free Pistol

·        At the start of the match, sighting shots as per the schedule below

·        Shots for score – as per the schedule below

·        A Free Pistol 10 shot final will be held 1 shot for each 75 second period, scoring and pasting after 10 shots.  All competitors will shoot the final.

·        Standard Pistol will shoot as a separate event.

·        Similar 25 yard events, Center Fire Pistol, Junior Sport Pistol, Women’s Sport Pistol, will shoot in the same relay according to the schedule below:

·        Rapid Fire Pistol will shoot after all other events are completed

·        Targets will be scored, pasted and scores posted after each 10 shots.  Protests will be heard by the Match Director and resolved immediately after each target is scored

AWARDS: 

• Cash awards for

1^st place, 3 or more shooters in each classification

2^nd place, 4 or more shooters in each classification

3^rd place, 5 or more shooters in each classification

 

• Fewer than 2 shooters in a classification will be grouped with the next higher classification
• Match results and awards will be distributed immediately after the end of the match.  No awards ceremony will be held.
